Saturday July 11,
2009 10th Annual Colesville Super Celebration Harpursville NY
Did you know that there
are approximately 100 families and who utilize our local food pantry? With this in mind, we will be collecting
donations of food and cash to help them out. Let's show our friends and neighbors that we care for them and help them
out by helping our local pantry. Bring your donation to the raffle table area and we will see to it that every item
and every penny reaches our local pantry.
Danger Will Robinson, Danger, Danger.
Our 1st ever Best Burger Contest is in danger of not happening. Unless we receive more entries,
our contest will not take place. We all know this is a good idea, but we need people who are willing to step up to the
grill and let everyone know who indeed makes the Best Burger.
There seems to be some confusion about our burger
contest. This is not an eating contest (although that might prove to be interesting, maybe next year)
anywho.... this is a best tasting burger. Each participant is only required to make a total of
4 (four) burgers , one for each judge. There's no need to go out and buy many, many pounds of meat.
I apologize for any misunderstandings this may have caused. With that said, let's see who has the best burger
in town!
This just in... local musical duo Hailey and Shawn have agreed to perform
for us at the bonfire on Friday night. These talented teens are making quite a name for themselves on todays local music
scene. Check them out.

Here's a kick-off event you'll
want to attend....... For the first time in Super Celebration History we will be kicking off the activities on Friday Night
with a community bon fire! Things get started at 8:00 pm at the Civic Association Grounds behind the Legion.
Another first time event you'll be sure to enjoy. This year our
area churches are collaborating together for the "Super Gospel Celebration Tent" Click on the event page to see all the details.
The Harpursville Fire Department is busy planning a firematics competition
for some fast paced action you'll want to check out. They've invited several neighboring fire companies, so
the competition should be intense! Our own fire-fighters won 1st place in this competition at the Deposit Lumberjack
Festival last year. Will they make the best of the "home field" advantage and take 1st place again?
We'll all have to watch and cheer them on. Full details to follow in the near future on the events page.
